You can find us in the KSSIDC Industrial Estate over in Mahadevapura. The plot number is SPL-10/2. It is right in the heart of the Whitefield area, so we are surrounded by a lot of other small factories and warehouses. The main thing we do here is roast coffee. If you walk near our building when the machines are running, you can definitely smell the beans cooking. It is a very industrial setting with high ceilings and concrete floors. We have these large roasters that take up most of the space and we spend a lot of time monitoring the temperature and the timing for each batch. It gets very hot in here, especially during the middle of the day, so we usually have a few large fans blowing all the time. There are stacks of burlap bags filled with green coffee beans waiting to be processed. We move them around with a small trolley. It is not a clean or quiet job, but there is something satisfying about seeing the beans turn from green to brown. We don't have a fancy tasting room or a cafe front. We just focus on the roasting part and getting the bags sealed up for delivery. Most of our work is done in work shirts and boots because it is a manual labor kind of environment where things get dusty.
