If you find yourself on St. Marks Road, you might see us at No 1. REALCO REAL ESTATE CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE is basically just a group of us working out of this spot. Being right there on the road means things are always moving fast outside. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us trying to keep track of various construction jobs and real estate bits. It gets pretty hectic around here, especially when the traffic gets backed up outside our door. We’ve been doing this for a while and don't feel the need to make it sound more complicated than it is. We build things and we manage property stuff. It’s hard work and involves a lot of back-and-forth with different people. Our space on St. Marks Road is pretty central, which helps when we have to go out to different parts of the city. We don't have a giant marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to finish a lunch break. We like the area because everything is close by, even if finding parking can be a total nightmare sometimes. We’ve got stacks of files and drawings everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a lived-in office, which is fine by us. We just focus on the projects we have on our plate and try to get them done. There is always a lot to do, and we just take it one day at a time.
