We are located at 144 Reservoir Street, right near Netakallppa Circle. It’s a busy little area in Bangalore. The office is actually care of G. Nagaratnamma, so it’s a bit of a personal setup here. Ravishankar and the team handle the accounting tasks for a variety of folks. It is a small place, not a big corporate floor. We have our computers and some old-fashioned ledgers because sometimes the old ways are just easier to track. The noise from the circle comes in through the windows, but we get used to it. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons checking audit reports. There isn't any mystery to what we do. We just make sure the tax forms are filled out right and the client doesn't get into trouble with the authorities. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you usually just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s an informal way of doing things, but the work is done properly. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen all sorts of financial situations. Whether it’s a small shop or just a person with a salary, we treat the paperwork the same. It is about getting the numbers to behave and making sure the deadlines are met every single month. We have coffee together in the morning and then dive into the spreadsheets. It’s just our little spot for doing the books.
