The office is at No. 38 on 3rd Main in Vyalikaval. It’s a quiet residential kind of area, which is nice for a chartered accountancy firm. Ramesh and the rest of us spend our days dealing with the usual tax stuff and company audits. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. It is just a regular building where we’ve set up our desks and computers. There are always boxes of old records in the corners because we have to keep everything for years. Most of our time is spent staring at screens or flipping through receipts. We try to keep things simple for everyone who comes in. There’s no need to make accounting sound more complicated than it already is. If you have a question about your returns, we just give you a straight answer. The Vyalikaval area has a certain pace to it, and we fit right in. We aren't trying to expand into a giant firm. We just want to do the work that’s on our desks today. Sometimes we get behind when the government portal crashes, which happens more than you’d think. We just wait it out and try again. It is a very normal, low-key place to get your taxes looked after without any corporate overhead or fancy talk. We might be small, but we know the books inside and out. It’s just us and the numbers, day in and day out.
