Bull Temple Road is a place that feels like the heart of old Bangalore, especially around Kempe Gowda Nagara. Our address at 8/24 is where we do all our biscuit business. It’s an area full of history and temples, and you can really feel that when you walk around the neighborhood during your lunch break. The building we’re in is older, with high ceilings that help a bit with the heat from the ovens. Making biscuits is a lot of repetitive work, but there’s something nice about the smell of baking dough that fills the whole street on some days. We aren't a giant factory with thousands of workers; we’re just a local group trying to get the batches right every single time. Sometimes the machines act up or the flour delivery is late, and we have to scramble to stay on schedule. The traffic on Bull Temple Road can be a nightmare during the festivals, but we’ve learned to plan around it. Most of our days are spent weighing ingredients and watching the timers. It’s a messy job sometimes, with flour getting on everything, but we don’t mind it much. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the people living nearby are used to seeing our delivery vans pulling in and out. It’s just honest work in a part of the city that we’ve grown to really like. There’s a sense of pride when a batch comes out just right.
