Prathama Vidyalaya Private Limited

Our school is located on Rayasandra Main Road, which is out in Anekal Taluk on the edge of the city. It’s a bit of a long drive if you're coming from the center of Bangalore, but this is where we decided to set up. Prathama Vidyalaya is a local place for the kids who live in this part of town. We’ve got a simple building at 138/1 that we've been using for a while. It’s a busy road with lots of trucks and motorbikes zooming past all day, but once you're inside the gates, it’s all about the students. We aren't one of those high-tech private schools with expensive gadgets for every child. We have basic classrooms, green blackboards, and a lot of energy from the kids. The staff here are mostly people from around here who care about the neighborhood. We spend our mornings greeting the kids at the entrance and our afternoons making sure the rooms are clean for the next day. It’s hard work running a school in a fast-growing area like Anekal. There’s always something that needs fixing, like a squeaky door or a flickering light bulb. But we stay on top of it as best as we can. We don’t have a marketing budget, so most people know us just because their neighbors told them about us. We focus on the basics of reading and writing. It’s about being here every single day for the families.
