Poppy Consultancy Private Limited is based out of Prestige Shantiniketan in Whitefield. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy this area gets, especially with all the IT offices nearby like ITPL. We’re in unit 1055. It’s a huge complex, so it took us a while to find our way around when we first moved in. The name Poppy is just something that stuck—it’s a bit friendlier than most consultancy names, I think. We aren't the type to put on airs or act like we’re better than anyone else. We’re just here to do the job. The view from Mahadevapura is mostly other tall buildings and a lot of traffic down below. Whitefield is always under construction it seems, so there’s usually some dust and noise, but inside the office, it’s quiet enough. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the afternoon slump. Most of our work involves helping people figure out their business stuff, but we don't use a lot of big words to explain it. We like to keep things down to earth. There are plenty of places to eat around here, which is the best part of being in this location. It’s a busy life in North Bangalore, but we’ve made a nice little spot for ourselves here. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else.
