This part of Basaveswaranagar, specifically near Modi Road, is where we spend most of our time. It’s a pretty standard office setup. We aren’t really into the whole big corporate lifestyle. Usually, it's just a few of us sitting around desks dealing with whatever contracting plans or consulting files are on the table that morning. Finding the place is easy enough if you know the cross streets, though the lane can get a bit narrow when everyone parks their scooters there. We have been in this area of Bangalore long enough to know the local tea shop owners by name. Work usually keeps us busy from Monday through Saturday. There’s always a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the actual sites where the contracting is happening. Sometimes we’re stuck in meetings for hours, and other times the place is empty because everyone is out in the field. We don't spend much on decorating the office because we’d rather just have good tools and enough space to lay out our blueprints. It’s a practical way to run things, I think. We handle the paperwork, talk to the vendors, and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It isn't always perfect, but we put in the hours. Basaveswaranagar is a good base for us, even with the usual city noise outside the window.
