Parvathi Garments Private Limited

We are Parvathi Garments Private Limited, and you can find our workshop at No. 607, KPCL Layout in Kasavanahalli Village, which is part of the Varthur Hobli area in Bangalore. This part of the city has changed a lot lately, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We focus on making garments, mostly in bulk. It’s a lot of sewing machines going all day and the smell of fresh fabric. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where people who know how to sew come to work. Some of us have been here since the start. We don’t go in for big mission statements or long-term strategies that sound like they came from a textbook. We just look at the orders we have for the week and try to get them finished on time. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just deal with it and move on. It’s a practical way to live. The neighborhood around KPCL Layout is mostly quiet, which is nice when we need to focus. We’re just regular folks making clothes for other regular folks. We don’t pretend to be anything else. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us mid-task, covered in thread and surrounded by stacks of finished shirts. It’s not always glamorous, but it is our livelihood and we just do what needs to be done.
