This part of Bangalore is quite green and it’s a nice place to have an office. We’ve been here for a while, just doing our thing in the construction world. The office is usually filled with the sound of people talking on phones and the rustle of large paper plans being unrolled. We don't go in for all that corporate talk or big promises. We just look at what needs to be built and figure out the best way to do it with the materials we have. Sometimes the supply chain gets messed up and we have to wait for cement or steel, which is frustrating for everyone. But that’s just how the building trade goes in a big city like Bangalore. Our team is mostly local guys who know the layout of RR Nagar like the back of their hands. We spend a lot of time visiting sites and making sure the foundations are being poured correctly. It’s not a glamorous job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a structure slowly take shape over a few months. We keep things pretty simple and honest. If a job is going to take longer because of the rain, we just say so. It’s easier that way for everyone involved in the project.
