It’s a busy part of Bangalore, always a lot of noise and movement outside. We’ve been set up in Unit E-04 for some time. Getting up to the fourth floor takes a minute if the lift is slow, which it sometimes is. Our daily routine involves a lot of sorting through different pieces and making sure everything is where it should be. We aren't a massive operation, just a few of us here. The space is filled with desks and drawers full of various items. J.C. Road is famous for many things, and being tucked away in this building gives us a bit of peace from the street level. We deal with jewelry and gemstones, handling the day-to-day tasks that come with it. It’s steady work. We don't really do much in the way of big advertisements. Most people who come by already know where we are or have been sent by a friend. We take our time with things. Lunch usually happens late. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the city around here. Sometimes the rains make the commute to J.C. Road a bit of a mess, but we manage. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, in this part of town.
