We are located at Church Street in Murugeshpalya, right in the HAL post area. The office is actually care of Prakash Chand Retesh Kumar, at No. 1. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it’s right in the middle of a lot of civil engineering activity. Padmaja Civiltech has been running out of this location for several years now. The neighborhood is a mix of old houses and new industrial setups. We do a lot of the technical side of civil work. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a tie. We’re usually in the office looking at structural drawings or out at a site making sure the foundation is right. The office is a bit crowded with files and old project reports, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. The sounds of planes from the HAL airport nearby are just part of the daily background noise here. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the engineering problems in front of us. Most of us have been in this field for a long time, so we’ve seen how much Bangalore has changed. Working in Murugeshpalya keeps us close to our main projects. It’s a busy life, and we don't have much time for polish or fluff. We just keep our heads down and handle the civiltech side of the business as best as we can.
