We are located at 171 on the second floor over here in Sunkudakatte. If you know the area, it is right on 4th Cross in Maruthi Nagar. Finding us is pretty easy once you get to Mahadeshwara Nagar. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been operating this chit fund from this spot for a while now. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting at our desks handling the paperwork and talking to the folks who come in to pay their installments or check on the auctions. It gets pretty busy around here in the afternoons, especially with all the noise from the street below. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. There are just some chairs for people to sit while we sort out the receipts. It is a local operation through and through. We know most of the people who come through the door because they live right around here in the neighborhood. We keep the fans running to stay cool and usually have the window open to let some air in from the 4th Cross side. There is always a lot of tea going around while we go through the ledgers. It is just a regular place where we do our work every day. We aren't trying to be some big corporate bank. We just handle the chits and make sure everyone gets their turn. It’s a straightforward way of doing things and people seem to appreciate that we are just normal folks.
