Navanandini Food Processors Federation

Our setup is a bit different because we are located out in Moodbidri Taluk, specifically in the Badaga Mijar Ashwathapura area. We operate out of Ramesh Shetty’s place. It is a lot quieter out here than in the big cities, which we actually quite like. Being a federation for food processors means we spend a lot of time dealing with local produce and the people who grow it. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, we are out in the processing area or talking to farmers about their crops. The weather out here in this part of Karnataka can be quite tough, especially during the monsoon when everything gets soaked. We don't have a marketing department or a polished website. We just rely on the work we do and the connections we have in the community. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We focus on the machines, the packing, and making sure everything is handled properly. Sometimes things break down or the roads are bad, but we just figure it out. It is a very rural, down-to-earth operation. We don’t make big claims about things. We are just local people working with food in our corner of Moodbidri. It isn't a city job, and that suits us just fine.
