Our office is number 31 on 2nd A Main Road in Arokiyamma Layout. We are right there in P and T Colony, which is part of the KG Halli area. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our building is a regular house that we converted into an office space. It has a very lived-in feel to it. You won't find any glass walls or marble floors here. Instead, there are stacks of bricks in the yard sometimes and blueprints pinned to the walls. We spend our days answering the phone and trying to keep track of where all our workers are. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the pace of it. KG Halli is a vibrant place and there is always some kind of noise or activity happening outside. We usually have some tea around four o’clock and talk about the progress we made during the day. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We are just builders who help people get their homes put together. It involves a lot of sweat and sometimes a bit of frustration when materials don't show up on time, but we deal with it. We are just a small group of people working out of a small layout in Bangalore. We like the fact that we are close to the people we are building for.
