Modakh Studio Private Limited

Our office is at number 18, right on the ground floor on Reservoir Street in Basavanagudi. Basavanagudi is one of those parts of Bangalore that still feels like the old days. Reservoir Street is relatively quiet compared to the main market areas nearby. Being on the ground floor means we get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always wiping down our desks. The space for Modakh Studio Private Limited isn't huge, but it's ours. We have a few computers and some comfortable enough chairs. There's no big reception area here; you just walk in and you're pretty much in the middle of everything. We spend our time working through different projects, often losing track of the clock until we realize it's dark outside. Basavanagudi has some great places to eat nearby, so lunch is usually the highlight of the day. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls or corporate slogans. It's just a working studio. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with books and papers, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly families who have lived here for decades, so it’s a friendly atmosphere. We just do our thing here, focusing on the work and not worrying about sounding important or looking a certain way to the public. It's a simple life of making things and drinking coffee.
