Maverick Future Foundation

We are tucked away at number 232/4 on 2nd Cross in the P & T Colony. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren’t from around here in the 560045 area of Bangalore. The Maverick Future Foundation is a small group. We aren’t some big-name charity you see on billboards. It’s just us in a modest building doing what needs to be done. The neighborhood is mostly families and working people, so we fit right in. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so many boxes and papers everywhere, but we know where everything is, mostly. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit; you’ll usually find one of us just sitting at a desk or moving things around. We spend our hours planning things and trying to make sure the foundation stays on track. It’s hard work and some days we feel pretty tired by five o’clock. But we like the community here. The 2nd Cross has its own rhythm and we are glad to be part of it. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what we're about. We just use what we have and keep moving forward. It’s honest, simple work. We don’t try to sound like a big company because we aren’t one. We’re just folks from the colony trying to do something decent for the future. It takes a lot of effort but we enjoy being here.
