You can find us at No 69, which is Plot No 386 in the Brindavana layout. It’s part of Basavanapura Village here in Bangalore. It's a bit further out than the main city center, which actually suits us fine. The air feels a little different here, maybe a bit less hectic. We set up Mahavjan Developers And Constructions Private Limited to handle our local projects without having to deal with the chaos of the downtown areas. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted for work. It has a very lived-in feel to it. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. Inside, we have desks piled with blueprints and folders. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a person sitting at a front desk waiting for guests. If the door is open, you just walk in and say hello. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We spend a lot of time out at sites, so the office is sometimes empty in the afternoons. When we are here, there’s usually a lot of talk about materials and timelines. It’s not a polished environment, but it works for what we need. We like being in Basavanapura. It feels like a real neighborhood where people actually know each other. That matters to us more than a fancy office address.
