Lijo and Jacob Media Partners is run out of an office in Sahakara Nagar, specifically at D-2182. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the rest of Bangalore, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on media projects. Lijo and Jacob are the two who started the whole thing, and the rest of us just sort of joined in along the way. We do a bit of everything when it comes to media, from coordinating with partners to figuring out the technical side of things. Our office is more like a shared house than a corporate suite, with a small kitchen where we spend way too much time talking. We don't have a big marketing team to tell our story; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been around for a bit and people know where to find us. Sometimes we’re working late into the night because a deadline is looming, and other times we’re just catching up on emails. There’s no big hierarchy here, everyone just chips in where they are needed. We’ve got some old posters on the walls and a few plants that we occasionally remember to water. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, but we still manage to get a lot of work out the door. We like being in Sahakara Nagar because it feels a bit more personal and less like we're just another company in a big industrial park. It is a good place for us to do our thing.
