Krishna Complex is where we sit. First floor. Bangalore traffic is a mess right off St. Marks Road. Lakent Builders is just us working from this office. We spend half the day on the phone and the other half at sites. It's a lot of walking and talking to people about land and bricks. Sometimes we have tea downstairs while waiting for someone to show up for a meeting. We don't have those fancy 3D screens, just paper maps and some old folders. We've been around Bangalore for a while, seeing the buildings go up everywhere. This office isn't much to look at, but it gets the job done. We deal with the builders and the buyers and all the people in between. It can be a headache with the city rules changing all the time. But we like what we do, even when the traffic makes us late. We know the local roads and which plots are worth looking at. People come to us because they saw one of our signs or heard from a friend. That's better than spending money on big posters. We just keep our heads down and try to finish the projects we started. Sometimes we finish early, sometimes the rain stops us for weeks. That's just building houses in this city. It is a long process and requires a lot of patience from everyone involved. We just take it day by day and try to keep our promises to the people we work with.
