Knandi Refinery Private Limited

Over on Magadi Road, things stay pretty loud and dusty, and that’s where we operate Knandi Refinery Private Limited. We are located at New 79/1 in Agrahara Dasarahalli. It’s an old part of Bangalore, and the roads are always cramped with trucks and bikes. Our building isn’t much to look at from the outside, but inside we stay busy with the refining process. There is a lot of heat and the smell of oil is pretty much stuck in our clothes by the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time watching the gauges and making sure the temperature stays where it should. If something goes wrong, it’s a big mess to clean up, so we try to stay on top of the maintenance. It’s a tough job and not very glamorous, but it’s what we do. The crew here has been together for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to get the work finished. We usually have lunch together in the small break area near the back entrance. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real pain, but we have a backup to keep the essential stuff running. We just focus on getting the drums filled and loaded onto the transport vehicles. It’s steady work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without fail.
