Our business is based in K R Puram, specifically in Nisarga Layout. We are at S No 12, K No 33/12, on the 6th Cross of Basavanapura Main Road. If you’ve ever been through K R Puram, you know how hectic the traffic can get near the bridge and the main junction. Luckily, being tucked away in Nisarga Layout is a bit quieter for us. We spend most of our time out on the sites anyway. Construction is a messy business, and we are usually covered in some kind of dust by the time lunch rolls around. The office is just a place for us to meet and go over the blueprints. We aren't really into the whole corporate image thing. We just have a few desks, some maps on the wall, and a lot of files. The area around Basavanapura is growing fast, so there are always new buildings going up, and we are right in the middle of it. We deal with the local suppliers and try to get the materials we need for the jobs. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication with different people all day long. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes they don't, but that's just the way it works in buildcon. We just keep showing up and doing the next thing on the list. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the local community here in Bangalore. We just take things one day at a time.
