We’re situated on the 4th floor of Sai Harsha Tower, right on the Whitefield Main Road. Being in Bangalore North means we're right in the middle of all the noise and growth. Kaira Design And Construction Private has a small office here, and it’s usually pretty busy. We spend our mornings looking at drawings and our afternoons out at various sites. Whitefield is always changing, so there’s always something new to look at. We do a mix of design work and actual building. It’s not always a smooth process; sometimes the designs have to change because of some practical issue on the ground. We just deal with it. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow during lunch hours, which is a bit of a pain. We’ve got a small team, mostly just a few of us who have been in the industry for a few years. We don't go in for anything too fancy. We just want the buildings to look decent and stay standing. It’s a lot of coordination with different vendors and workers. Sometimes it feels like we’re just managing chaos, but we usually get things sorted. We’re just a local business trying to make a mark in a big city like Bangalore. It’s tough work, but it keeps us on our toes every single day. We grab lunch at the local spots and get right back to the blueprints.
