The office for K Kotresh & Co Chartered Accountants is tucked away in the Pearl Aster Apartments. We are at S-03, which is on the ground floor, right at the back of the building. It’s on 5th Cross in R T Nagar, near the post office. Being in an apartment complex makes things a bit quieter than being right on the main road. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors or the kids playing outside in the afternoon. We have a small sign on the door so people don't get lost in the hallways. Inside, it’s mostly just filing cabinets and a few computers. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to go through, but we manage. The walk from the main R T Nagar road isn't too long, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you’re driving a big car. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The light in the office is okay, but we usually keep the tube lights on all day. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll ever see, but the desks are sturdy and the chairs are comfortable enough for long hours. People usually call before they come over because we might be out on an audit. It’s just a normal place where we handle the books and talk about tax filings over coffee. There's always a pot of water on the stove and some biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry.
