Some days are spent entirely at the government offices trying to get things cleared, and other days we are out walking through mud on a new site. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people might think about developers. There are always delays with labor or materials, and you just have to learn to be patient. We have a small group of people who handle the various parts of the business. We’ve all lived around here long enough to know the local market and what people are looking for. We just try to do honest work and keep the business running steadily. It’s about being part of the community and building something that lasts without making too much of a fuss.
