Jagadguru Basaveshwara Chits Private Limited is located in the Marathahalli area of Bangalore. Our office is No. 9 on the first floor of a building called Basavalaya, which is on 1st Main in Basavanagar. It is near the post office, so it is a convenient spot for us. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many files stored away. We use a lot of paper because we like to have everything written down clearly. There is a small balcony where we sometimes stand to get a bit of fresh air during the day. Marathahalli is a very busy place, so there is always noise from the traffic and the construction nearby. We have a few desks and some plastic chairs for when the members come in for the meetings. It’s a very basic setup. We don't have air conditioning, just the fans on the ceiling. We focus on keeping the accounts straight and making sure everyone gets their money on time. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do. We usually close up for a bit in the afternoon for lunch and then work late into the evening. Most of us live nearby, so we know the area and the people pretty well. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things the right way without any extra drama or flashiness.
