Istoria Cafe Llp is tucked away on Curley Street in Richmond Town. We’re at No. 12, right on the ground floor. Being in Richmond Town means we are in a very old and busy part of the city. The cafe is our main focus every day. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen and at the counter. It’s not a huge place, but it’s ours. We don’t go for anything too polished or corporate. The tables are a bit mismatched, and the floor has seen better days, but it has character. We start early to get the food ready before the first people start walking down Curley Street. The 560025 area has a lot of office workers and residents, so we see a good mix of folks. We don’t have a big marketing budget. We just rely on people walking by and stopping in. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but that’s just life in the city. Our staff is local and we all just want to make sure the food is decent. It’s a lot of hard work, mostly standing up all day and cleaning up after the rush. We don’t have any big grand goals. We just want to keep the cafe running and serve the neighborhood as best as we can. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the people who come through our doors.
