Our space is at 1D in the Vatsalya Apartments, located at 47/1 on the 1st Cross of 17th A Main in JP Nagar, 2nd Phase. Being in an apartment building makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office, which we think helps the people who visit us feel more relaxed. We focus a lot on neurodiversity, which basically means we spend our time thinking about how different people think and learn. Our daily routine involves a lot of talking, listening, and trying to figure out better ways to include everyone in what’s going on in the community. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we feel like we’re barely scratching the surface. The office is often full of different materials and books, and there’s usually someone around having a chat. We aren't here to win any awards or have a fancy website. We just want to make things a little easier for the families and individuals who reach out to us. JP Nagar is a busy area, but our little corner in Vatsalya stays relatively calm. We don't have any scripted speeches. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because they usually are. We’re just a small group of people trying to do something useful with our time. It’s messy and complicated sometimes, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
