Our place is over in Kacharakanahalli, at No. 1037 on the 2nd Cross. It’s in the Bangalore North Taluk area, which is a bit of a mix of residential houses and small offices. We go by the name Institute Of Cyber Security And Research Foundation. Even though the name sounds very high-tech, our office is pretty humble. It’s a basic building with several rooms filled with old desks and a lot of computer monitors. We spend most of our time doing research and looking into security issues. It’s a lot of quiet work, just sitting and typing for hours. The neighborhood is pretty typical for this part of Bangalore. There’s a guy who sells snacks on the corner and a lot of bikes parked along the road. We don't have a fancy lobby or a break room. Usually, we just eat at our desks or step outside for a bit of air on the 2nd Cross. The power sometimes fluctuates, so we have to make sure our backups are working. It’s a small team of us here, and we’ve all been doing this for a while. We don't really have a dress code; we just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. Finding the building can be a little tricky because the numbering on the street is a bit odd, but once you see the 1037, you’re in the right place. We just keep to ourselves and get the research done.
