We deal with communications, which basically means we spend a lot of time on the phone or typing out things for other people. The office has been at this address for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. There’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs filing, and the desks are usually covered in notes. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area; it’s just a place where we come to do our jobs every morning. Most of us take the bus or ride in, so the morning starts with everyone complaining about the Bangalore traffic before we settle in. We handle various communication tasks, mostly just making sure information gets from one place to another without getting lost. It’s steady work and keeps us busy from nine to six. Sometimes we stay late if a project is running behind, but we try to get out on time to beat the worst of the rush. Jayanagar is a good place to be because everything you need is just a short walk away, like the small shops where we get our lunch.
