If you walk down 13th Cross in MRCR Layout, you’ll find us at number 638/3. This part of Jayanagar is actually pretty nice, though the parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time. Inkart Creatives isn’t some giant agency with glass walls and minimalist furniture. Our space is more like a lived-in workshop where there is always a stack of papers or a hard drive sitting where it shouldn’t be. We have been in Bangalore for a while now and we know the rhythm of the city. We do creative work, which basically means we spend our mornings arguing about fonts and our afternoons actually making things. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on a deadline. Often, someone will head out to grab snacks for the team because we forgot to eat lunch. It is a simple setup we have here. We don’t have a big marketing team to tell our story, so we just let the work speak for itself. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window, but we just move the desk and keep going. It is just a few of us trying to make a living doing what we actually enjoy. Jayanagar has changed a lot, but our little corner on 13th cross stays pretty much the same day to day. We don't have much for fancy decorations, just our computers and a few old chairs that we probably should have replaced by now.
