Initiative For Climate Action Foundation

You can find us at 103, Vista Auburn, which is number 84 on St. Johns Church Road. We are right by Coles Park and the AKS Convention Center. It’s a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside. Initiative For Climate Action Foundation is basically a group of us working out of this apartment. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather and the environment, but not in a scientific or boring way. We just look at how things are changing around us. Our office is full of plants and stacks of recycled paper. We try to keep things simple. We don't have a big budget for fancy office supplies, so we make do with what we have. Sometimes the traffic noise from the main road gets a bit loud, but we get used to it. We aren't some big global NGO with thousands of employees. We are just a small foundation trying to figure out how to make things a little better here in Bangalore. We spend our days on calls, writing reports, and meeting people who care about the same things we do. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we feel like we are moving slowly, but we keep at it. We are just regular people who decided to do something about the climate in our own small way. It is a practical, everyday kind of job for us. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here.
