Hwa Charitable Foundation

Hwa Charitable Foundation is based out of Bangalore North, specifically in Maruthi Sevanagar. You can find us at number 10 on the 1st Cross, right near the M S Nagar bus stop. It’s a busy little area and we see the buses coming and going all day long. Being so close to the stop makes it easy for people to find us, which is helpful. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we keep our files and meet up to plan things. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for some time and we like the neighborhood. It has a real local feel to it. There are usually three or four of us around during the day. We don't spend much on fancy furniture or big signs. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop in from the street. The traffic in Bangalore can be a nightmare as everyone knows, so we try to get most of our errands done early in the morning before the 1st Cross gets too crowded. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get things finished. It’s practical work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We’re just here in Maruthi Sevanagar doing our bit and keeping the foundation running smoothly. We usually have a bit of music playing in the background to keep the mood light while we sort through our documents.
