Healinghands Mission International Foundation

Healinghands Mission International Foundation is located on Ashok Road, right in the Health Camp area of Betagerigadag. It’s a busy street, and there’s always a lot of noise from the cars and people passing by. We’ve been set up here for a while now. The building is simple, just like everything else on Ashok Road. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our stuff and sit down to talk. The market is just a short walk away, so we get a lot of foot traffic near our door. We’ve grown accustomed to the hustle and bustle of Ashok Road over the years. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or expensive furniture. We just have some basic chairs and a few tables. Betagerigadag is where we feel most at home. Being in the Health Camp area makes sense for us. We see a lot of people every day. Some of them stop in just to say hello. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a very local operation. Sometimes we have to fix things ourselves when they break. It’s just how it is. We like being on Ashok Road because we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a practical place to be. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy.
