Being near L&T Infotech means there's always something going on around us. We do construction work, mostly around the Hoodi area and the EPIP Zone. It's a lot of managing schedules and making sure materials show up on time. Bangalore is a tough place for moving heavy equipment because of the roads and the Plot 331 Road 5B traffic. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes things go right and sometimes the rain slows everything down. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy suits. Most of the time we have dirt on our boots and coffee on the desk. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Construction is about solving problems before they get too big. We look at a lot of blueprints and deal with a lot of different workers. It’s loud and messy work but someone has to do it. We've seen this area change a lot over the years. We keep our heads down and just do the work that needs doing. It’s not always pretty but we get the job done. We’ve had to learn how to deal with all the local regulations too. That takes up a lot of time. We end up spending half our life in traffic just getting from one site to another, but that’s Bangalore for you.
