We run Haraption Engineering And Constructions Private Limited from a flat on the 3rd floor of Sree Raj Enclave. It’s number 13/1 on Manipal County Road, down in Singasandra. Being in the 560068 part of Bangalore means we’re close to a lot of the newer developments. The stairs up to the 3rd floor are a bit narrow, but we don't mind the exercise. Our office is basically where the engineering plans get drawn up before we take them out to the field. We’ve got a couple of computers and a large table for spreading out maps and construction layouts. It’s not a big corporate setup. Mostly, it’s just us talking through problems and trying to find the most sensible way to build things. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and the only sound is the hum of the fans. We work with a lot of different contractors and laborers across the city. Coordinating everyone can be a bit like herding cats, but we’ve gotten better at it over the years. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us hunched over a desk or on the phone. We prefer it that way because we can stay focused on the engineering side of things. It’s about being practical and getting the structures built right, without any unnecessary fluff or fancy talk. It’s just how we get things finished around here.
