Happy Bar Nutrition Foundation

We are tucked away in Laxmi Apartments, unit 3A, over on East Park Road. Malleswaram is one of those old parts of Bangalore that still feels like a neighborhood. It is at 108/1 if you are looking for the exact gate. Happy Bar Nutrition Foundation is a small group of us who care about what people are eating. We are not a big factory or a corporate office. We mostly work out of this apartment. It gets a bit crowded with boxes and samples, but we make it work. We spend our days looking at ingredients and trying to figure out how to get better food to people who do not have much. It is not always easy to find the right stuff at a price that makes sense. We do not have any fancy marketing people telling us what to say. We just talk to the people we meet at the market or in the building. Some people think it is strange to run a foundation from an apartment, but it keeps our costs down. We would rather spend the money on the food than on a high-rent office. The traffic on East Park Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we are usually inside working anyway. We are just regular Bangalore residents who think that everyone deserves a decent meal. No big slogans, just food and hard work.
