Handcrafted Restaurants Private Limited is based out of Number 661 on 10th Cross in Mahalakshmipuram. We are in the 2nd Stage, just west of Churd Road. It’s a residential-feeling area but we use this space to manage all the messy stuff that goes into running several restaurants. It’s really not as glamorous as the dining rooms might look to the customers. Most of our time is spent looking at menus, checking food invoices, and trying to find good staff who actually want to work. The office is often full of food samples or pieces of old kitchen equipment we haven't found a place for yet. We chose Mahalakshmipuram because it’s a decent, quiet place to work from without all the noise of the main road. Our days are never really the same from one to the next. One morning we might be arguing about the rising price of vegetables and the next we are trying to find someone to fix a broken sink in a hurry. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles here. It’s just a few of us sitting around a couple of cluttered tables. We’ve had some very long nights in this building trying to get everything ready for a new place to open up. It’s stressful work but we genuinely enjoy the food side of the business. We aren't trying to be a massive chain; we just want the places we manage to work well for the people who eat there. It’s a lot of small, boring details that most people never see.
