Gyana Vana Foundation

Our foundation is located up in Mudigere, specifically at No. 75 in Urubagedaradahalli. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities. We operate out of Nayanakshi B K’s place. Chickmagalur is known for its coffee and greenery, and we are right in the middle of it. Gyana Vana Foundation is really just a local effort. We do not have a big staff. It is mostly just us and a few neighbors who want to help the kids around here. Life in the village moves at its own pace. We spend a lot of time walking around and talking to families. Sometimes we help with books, other times it is just about making sure the local school has what it needs. We do not have a lot of equipment. Just a table, some chairs, and a lot of patience. The weather can be a bit tricky during the monsoon, which sometimes slows us down. But we stay at it. People know us as the folks at number 75. We do not put up big signs or anything. Word travels fast in a place like this anyway. We just want to make sure the people here have a few more opportunities than they used to. It is not complicated. We live here, we work here, and we try to make things a little better where we can. It is just how things are done in our part of Karnataka.
