Our office is at No 159/3, right along 18th Main Road. It’s a busy street, so you’ll probably hear the horns honking while we’re talking. Grayhouse Realtors Llp isn’t a massive company with a shiny lobby or anything like that. We just have a few chairs for visitors and a big table where we spread out our maps and documents. Usually, the first person in makes a pot of tea, and we spend the morning catching up on what’s happened over the weekend. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we should put something up, but we never get around to it. Most of our day is spent on the phone or walking over to different sites nearby. It can get a bit dusty with all the construction going on around here, but that’s just how it is. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the locals know where to find us. If the door is propped open, it means we’re in. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot of paperwork to sort out, but usually, we try to wrap things up by six. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don’t have any big corporate speeches to give. We just know the neighborhood well and we work out of this small office on the main road. The neighbors are friendly, and we often swap stories over the fence in the afternoon.
