Gravitas Builders Private Limited

Gravitas Builders is over at the Karimbanakkal Arcade in Kodathi Padi. We are in unit B06/05. It’s a busy little building and there is always something going on downstairs in the arcade. Working in construction means our office is rarely perfectly clean; there is always a bit of grit from the sites or stacks of drawings that need to be looked at and signed. We’ve been in this area for some time and we’ve seen it change quite a bit as more people move in. Our team is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to going out and checking on the masonry work. Kodathi Padi has its own rhythm, and we’ve fit into it pretty well. We don't have any big corporate signs or mission statements on the walls. Instead, we have a white board with a list of tasks that never seems to get shorter no matter how hard we work. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work every day. We talk to vendors, negotiate prices for sand and gravel, and try to keep the projects on schedule as much as we can. Sometimes the monsoon rains slow everything down, and we just have to wait it out in the office with some hot tea. It’s a real business run by real people who just want to build things correctly. We aren't looking for anything flashy, just steady work and good results.
