You will find us at No 2, which is now New Number 5, on the 1st Main Road in Kathriguppe. We are right in the heart of Bsk 3rd Stage. Gks Chit Funds is a local business that we run with a lot of daily care. The office isn't very large, but it is enough for us and the people who come to visit. We spend most of our time at our desks, surrounded by stacks of files and various ledgers. Kathriguppe is always busy, so there is a lot of energy and noise right outside. We try to keep things simple here. We do not use much jargon or have any complicated rules. People come in, we talk about the different chit groups, and we manage the monthly auctions. It is a lot of responsibility to handle other people’s savings, and we take that quite seriously. We have got a routine that works for us, starting with a coffee and then diving straight into the paperwork. Some of our members have been with us since we first opened our doors years ago. It is nice to have that kind of history with the community. We are not a big bank or a corporate firm. We are just a group of people who understand how hard it is to save money. We do our best to keep things transparent and honest. The 1st Main Road is a good place to be.
