Girijaramana Impex Private Limited is based on the second floor of a building at No. 233, right on Sampige Road in Malleswaram. If you have ever been to Malleswaram, you know how packed the streets can get, especially during festival times. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos below. Our business is mostly about import and export. That means a lot of documents, customs talk, and tracking shipments across the water or land. We have a small team here in Bangalore. It is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise I guess. We deal with all sorts of items, and every day brings a different kind of problem to solve. One day it is a delay at the port, the next it is a mix-up with the labels. We just take it as it comes. It is a bit of a grind, but we like being in this part of town. There are plenty of good places to grab a quick coffee or some tiffin nearby. We do not really do the whole corporate branding thing. We are just a bunch of people working out of an office in a busy market area, trying to make sure the containers get where they are going. It is a lot of paperwork but it keeps us busy.
