We're located over at No. 6/1 on 4th A Cross, just off Kathriuppe Main Road in Vivekananda Nagar. It’s a residential-ish area but has plenty of businesses too. Fruicey Food And Beverages is the name we went with. We handle various types of snacks and drinks for the local market. The office is tucked away, so it’s usually quiet enough to get work done. We started this because we liked the idea of being our own bosses. It’s been harder than we thought, but also quite rewarding. We don't have a big HR department or a marketing team. It’s just us. We handle everything from the paperwork to the cleaning. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, and other times we might leave early if things are slow. It’s a flexible way to work. We don't really care for the polished corporate image. We’d rather just be known for being reliable. If someone calls us with a problem, they talk to a real person, not a machine. We like it that way. Vivekananda Nagar is a good place for us to be based. It’s central enough but not as crazy as some other parts of Bangalore. We’re just keeping at it, one day at a time. We don't always have the answers, but we try to figure things out as they come up. It's a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we enjoy it.
