Freddys Breweries And Cafe Privatelimited

We are located at number 55 on the Railway Parallel Road in Kumara Park West. It’s a ground floor spot, which is convenient, though you definitely notice the trains passing by every now and then. Freddys Breweries and Cafe is a bit of a mixed space. We have the brewery side where we handle the brewing process, and then we have the cafe side for people to grab a drink. It’s not a high-end, polished establishment. We’ve kept the look of the place pretty casual and functional. The neighborhood here is actually quite nice with some old trees and a bit of a residential feel despite being near the tracks. We spend a lot of our time cleaning equipment because that’s about 90 percent of what running a brewery actually is. The cafe keeps us busy with the morning crowd and then it shifts as the day goes on. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, brew the beer, make the coffee, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from washing glasses to checking the fermentation tanks. It can be long hours, especially on the weekends, but we like the atmosphere of Kumara Park West. It’s just a regular place where we do our work.
