Jayanagar 1st Block is a pretty established area. We are tucked away on 5th Cross, at No. 121, just off 10th Main. Fish2Fork is our little venture. We deal with fresh fish every day. It means we have to be up very early to get the best catch from the markets. It’s a messy business, honestly. There is a lot of ice and water and cleaning involved. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We just want to get the fish to the people who want it. The streets here in Jayanagar are usually lined with trees, which makes it a nice place to work most of the year. We aren't a big industrial operation. It’s just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what’s fresh today. We don't have a big advertising budget or a marketing team. We just rely on people knowing where we are on the cross road. Sometimes we run out of certain things and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. That’s just part of dealing with fresh food. We are just local people running a local business. It’s hard work and the smell of fish never really leaves your clothes, but we are used to it by now. It’s what we do for a living and we stay busy with it from Monday to Saturday. It is just plain work.
