We’re on 7th Main in the 560041 zip code of Bangalore. Jayanagar is one of those older, greener parts of the city, so it’s a bit quieter than the newer areas. Our building is a bit older too, which gives it some character. We spend our time here getting everything ready for the day. It’s not a corporate office with cubicles; it’s more of a lived-in space because of the nature of what we do. There are shelves and chairs and things spread out. We don’t have a lot of polished marketing materials around the place. Mostly, it’s just the everyday items we need to keep things running. The 7th Main road gets some traffic, but mostly it’s just neighbors and people who live around here. We open up early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Sometimes the pigeons on the roof make a bit of noise, but you get used to it. It’s a simple setup at No 61. We don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. It’s just a practical place in a nice part of Bangalore where we come to work every day and handle the business of the Montessori. We keep things pretty informal and just focus on getting through the daily tasks we have.
