Our office is located at Unit No 33 on the third floor of the SNS Chamber. The building is No 239 on Sankey Road, right in the heart of Sadashivnagar. It is a busy building with a lot of different businesses, but we have been in our spot for quite a while. We work on shelters and housing projects, which means we spend a lot of time looking at building codes and architectural drawings. The office has a few windows that look out over the trees in Sadashivnagar, which is nice when things get stressful. It is not a particularly modern office; we have old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do not really care much about the aesthetics of the workspace as long as we have what we need to do our jobs. Most of our clients are local people who know us through word of mouth. We do not do any big advertising or have a dedicated marketing person. If you come by, you will probably find us drinking tea and arguing over a project detail or talking to a contractor on the phone. It is a very informal atmosphere. We like to keep things simple and direct. There are not many layers here, so if someone needs an answer, they get it straight from the person in charge. We just try to stay organized and keep our projects on track without making a big deal about it.
