Einstep Foundation

You can find us over at Basavanagar, tucked away on 9th Cross. Our spot is No. 33, near Marathahalli. If you’ve ever been around here, you know how busy the main roads get, so being on a cross street is a bit of a relief from the noise. We started Einstep Foundation because there seemed to be a gap in how things were getting done locally. It’s just a few rooms where we keep our supplies and a couple of old computers that we use for the paperwork. The office isn't anything special to look at, just plain walls and some sturdy chairs we bought a few years back. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in. The building itself is okay, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re carrying boxes. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look polished. Most of the work involves just sorting out details for the projects we have going on. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. It’s a simple setup. We know the postman and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just doing our bit from this little corner of Bangalore. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
