You can find us right on DVG Road in Basavanagudi, which is one of those parts of Bangalore that always feels alive. Our office is at number 48, up on the first floor. It’s a bit of a climb but it gives us a good view of the street below. DVG Road is famous for its shops and the general buzz, and we are right in the thick of it. At Edgebricks, we don't really go in for the fancy corporate stuff. We are just a group of people who know a lot about bricks. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at delivery schedules. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the right bricks get to the right building sites on time. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to someone just trying to build a small wall in their backyard. The office is pretty simple, just some desks and a lot of paper. We like being in Basavanagudi because it’s a traditional area and it suits how we work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do the job properly. Sometimes the noise from the market downstairs is a lot, but you get used to it after a while. We just keep our heads down and focus on the logistics of moving materials across the city.
